Summer Reading at the library this year will be packed full of fun activities for all involved! We’ll have games, crafts, and, of course, chances to spin the prize wheel!  (45 min.)

Shorter themed storytime, with shorter books, more singing and movement, and some type of enrichment activity. Caregivers attend with child. (30 min.)

Age-appropriate book talk and book share, and activity or craft. (45 min.)

Let’s explore what it means to Color Our World at the library for all teenagers during this summer’s program. We’ll play board and video games, craft, and just have a good time while showing off the awesomeness of the library. (1 hr.)

Thursday, June 5: Daytripping! Learn about short trips just a few hours away from Marysville.

Thursday, June 12: Film Viewing and Discussion “Strangers in Town!” Hear from Dr. Debra Bolton from Humanities Kansas about how immigration shaped Garden City, Kansas.

Thursday, June 19: Backyard Chicken Basics! Marysville Public Library Assistant Director Dé will take us through the basics on starting your very own backyard flock.

Thursday, June 26: Suncatcher Craft! Mandy will help you create something unique with chicken wire and glass beads. This program is longer; please plan to stay for two hours. Limited supplies — call 785-562-2491 or click here to sign up or for more information!
