Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing a full range of circulation services involving customer service and materials management.
- Providing simple information and reference service using print and online sources.
- Assisting with library programming, promotions, and reports.
- Assisting patrons with basic computer skills, making copies, scanning documents, and sending faxes.
- Attending in-service and virtual workshops, meetings, and conferences as requested.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Fundamental knowledge of library circulation processes including Dewey Decimal system.
- Excellent communication skills with the general public and staff.
- Ability to remain professional, courteous, and trustworthy while interacting with library patrons and staff.
- Broad knowledge of library equipment including computers, copy machine, and fax machine.
- Ability to work independently, accurately, and with attention to detail.
- Must be available to work scheduled hours on Mondays through Saturdays.
- Willingness to adhere to the philosophy of librarianship as stated in the Library Bill of Rights.
- Ability to exercise mature independent judgement.

Salary: Salary will be dependent upon education and experience.
