a session of Library U

Thursday, March 19 at 12:15 pm

Fentanyl is scary. It’s driving a surge in poisonings across the U.S., often through counterfeit pills.

Come to the March Library U session to hear more about this growing epidemic.

*Thursday, March 19 at 12:15 pm at the Marysville Public Library

Presented by Jenni Ebert, the Community Health Educator of the Riley and Pottawatomie County Health Departments, the Coordinator of Kansas Drug Endangered Children, and the founder of The Jayson Ebert Foundation, this practical session covers what fentanyl is and how counterfeit pills circulate. What parents and caregivers should know about social media risks, warning signs of substance use, and how to respond to a suspected poisoning will also be covered.

Naxolone basics will also be discussed. Attendees will leave with clear steps and local resources.

This complimentary program is sponsored by the Marysville Public Library. Programs are geared toward adults but anyone is welcome.
