Fentanyl is driving a surge in poisonings across the U.S., often through counterfeit pills. This practical session covers what fentanyl is, how counterfeit pills circulate, warning signs of substance use, what parents and caregivers should know about social media risks, and how to respond to a suspected poisoning, including naloxone basics. Attendees will leave with clear steps and local resources.

Jenni Ebert, Community Health Educator for Riley and Pottawatomie County Health Departments, the Coordinator of Kansas Drug Endangered Children, and found of The Jayson Ebert Foundation, will help participants understand the dangers and help them to educate themselves about this dangerous epidemic.
